:i like to say all colors shine in their own shade:
and today i experienced one beautiful color

from the soothing voice of an elder
i heard eloquence beyond measure
reciting the cherished words of hundreds of years
the fresh sounds flowed more than any poetry i know
intertwining itself with an ancient language that has always been there
it was refreshing and powerful to say the least
as the resting body was lowered inch by inch into the earth
the words soothed away the sorrow that He is no longer with us
but now on to His final home
tears raining down speaking louder than any actions of words
tears roaring nothing but truth

a foundation was reunited once again
although the circumstance unfortunate, in a way
i forgot how much i love these people, my people
my roots my upbringing
the very core to myself and who i am today
although i have grown and am not ashamed of who i am whats important is that
they still are still there
going on strengthening one another
producing beauty and peace in each other and this world

to end the night i heard the powerful words of a Shiekh from Irvine
words that will resonate through my lifetime indeed
the poetry of the Quran was flowing unnaturally
and all i could do was think of the beauty of the language used
immeasurable by human standards
but more importantly than the expression was the lesson learned
simply moving and reassuring once again all those around
relieving sorrows for all those around
and as i left it was truly a happy night
i am grateful to have experienced this day

as unique and magnificent of a day this truly was
it hurts me to think my place in this world is still reaffirmed
i wish i am wrong i wish i am wrong i wish i am wrong i wish i am wrong
not for my sake
but for those that sacrifice so much of their lives to their faith
from the who to, what to, where, when, and how to...
to the w/w/w/w/h-not to...
i just wish i am wrong

as individuals we have a limit
no matter how much knowledge we have accumulated at our desks
we have a limit
even with all the respect earned on those fields
there is only so much
of course the support system is so powerful
but for the first 2 decades i was satisfied with my limit
thinking the best that i can be is indeed sufficient

it is important not to settle for our finite growth as an individual
find that person who will make you aware of new parts of life you never knew existed
exploring new love within us
thus catalyzing the release as well

:life is as complicated as we want to make it. or even as simple. the definition of life is open to interpretation by each individual, whether they view it as a page, chapter, short novel, poem, epic trilogy, or a small part of a much longer series. and what shapes our view of life is our beliefs.

:the main point is that we need to find our belief that will be the catalyst to making us better individuals. a faith is necessary though. it is not till we fill that void until we really start living the lives we are capable of. but we must be selfish with our lives, and selfless with our love, making sure that in this life we leave all that we have; unconsciously helping others do the same.

:it is important not just to live with an open mind
:but to shine light from our hearts with action

i am glad to have you back.once again_you used to get me in.trouble.as an adolescent_taking first class journeys to.wherever you desired_with friends.family the.future and.history_but it was too.real_you believed in it.too much_letting go of the.real world just to.escape_and could not.let it go_you had to.let it go_surviving years now.without it_learning about the.tangibles in.life_causing me to lose a piece of.myself

as time has.elapsed, i have a new view.vision.voice

i take those.first class journeys once again_getting caught with my.head in.the clouds once again
